We will build a customized consortia of microbes that will act as your personal signature in your plants.  This is validated in subsequent generations once the plants leave your facility and enter the marketplace through genetic sequencing.

A unique biomarker fingerprint can be developed for a specific breeder or breeding operation or can be developed for a specific strain

A biomarker fingerprint sill typically take 6 months to develop test and sequence.

A customer will typically contact us to develop a breeder specific biomarker set and will determine level of complexity at initial consultation.  The greater the number of biomarker components the easier it is to remove variability

Initial biomarker development is depending on level of complexity required by a breeder.

Use of the biomarker is typically $10 to $20 per plant inoculated.  We recommend inoculating all plants as they are grown and again prior to sale and shipment to the new owners.

Each breeder will determine the number of biomarkers in a consortial based on their specific needs, but typically a biomarker starts at six sequenced microbes and can increase to up to 50 microbes to get maximum protections.  No biomarkers are ever re-used and are specific to a particular breeder.  

C3Hemp has partnered with industry leaders to create multiple onsite backups and "mother bug" -85C storage of your microbes and provide you with inoculant based on a predetermined schedule.  Samples are kept for 3 years after the last shipment for validation purposes.  We will work with our industry partners to file patenting paperwork for your unique identifier if desired for additional fees.
